As an authorized repair facility, we’ve been able to renew old customers’ loyalty to Droll Yankees. We’ve had a number of occasions where we’ve repaired or replaced a part to a feeder that was bought in the 90’s and has finally worn out. Of course, we do the repairs free of charge, which stuns the customers. First, they don’t expect the thing to be repaired, and second, they expect to pay for the repair.

We always seize the opportunity to show them some of the newest models and accessories, which usually results in an additional sale (to a really, really happy customer).

We once had a lady call us in South Carolina who bought an A-6 here years ago when she lived here. Her daughter was buying her first home, and she wanted to give her an A-6 as a housewarming gift and was wondering if they still made them and if I could ship it to her. Yes. Yes.

Dear Droll Yankees,

I'm currently running 4 onyx clever clean thistle feeders and 7 b-7s plus a few other feeders in my back yard....and I will tell you know that the onyx is the best invention since sliced bread as far as cleanability and maintenance are concerned....IMHO....I also note that I keep the onyx a lot cleaner than I do the b-7s...its an all day event breaking down and cleaning 7 b-7s as I'm sure you can understand that I don't do it as often as I should........which brings me to my question and wish.....is there an onyx clever clean b7 size in the works...I'll put in a great big "PLEASE" just for good measure.

Dear Droll Yankees,

I'm writing to thank you for a recently supplied repair part to our broken Flipper feeder. When we put the new part on, my husband just put the feeder in the garage. The next day he put seed in it and hung it, only the Flipper part wasn't working quite correctly. Of course, by this time the directions had been thrown out and the trash had been collected. I was able to go on your web site, pull up a manual, and it showed all the parts. We were missing the spring. Unbeknownst to us it had fallen out when we took it apart to repair it. We found the spring on floor, inserted it, and voila, it works perfectly. So grateful you had information online. And the repair part was sent immediately. What great customer service, thank you so much.
