As an authorized repair facility, we’ve been able to renew old customers’ loyalty to Droll Yankees. We’ve had a number of occasions where we’ve repaired or replaced a part to a feeder that was bought in the 90’s and has finally worn out. Of course, we do the repairs free of charge, which stuns the customers. First, they don’t expect the thing to be repaired, and second, they expect to pay for the repair.

We always seize the opportunity to show them some of the newest models and accessories, which usually results in an additional sale (to a really, really happy customer).

We once had a lady call us in South Carolina who bought an A-6 here years ago when she lived here. Her daughter was buying her first home, and she wanted to give her an A-6 as a housewarming gift and was wondering if they still made them and if I could ship it to her. Yes. Yes.

In addition to providing a superb product to offer our customers, Droll Yankees affords us another opportunity to truly excel at customer service…which is how we effectively compete with the big box stores which surround us. Wild Birds Country Store

I love to sell Droll Yankee birdfeeders for 2 main reasons. 1st the birds flock to these feeders and 2nd the quality of the product. All I have to do is talk about the A-6 feeder and tell people how it started birdfeeding in 1969 ,as we know it today and it has a lifetime warranty...well the product sells itself. Droll Yankees is a company that I hunted out a few years ago. At the time there were no suppliers to retailers in the area (I am in California). Finally one summer at a local trade show they were there! I was so excited. Since I have focused on birding and the Droll Yankees line, it has definitely boosted the bottom line. Dear Droll Yankees,

I'm writing to thank you for a recently supplied repair part to our broken Flipper feeder. When we put the new part on, my husband just put the feeder in the garage. The next day he put seed in it and hung it, only the Flipper part wasn't working quite correctly. Of course, by this time the directions had been thrown out and the trash had been collected. I was able to go on your web site, pull up a manual, and it showed all the parts. We were missing the spring. Unbeknownst to us it had fallen out when we took it apart to repair it. We found the spring on floor, inserted it, and voila, it works perfectly. So grateful you had information online. And the repair part was sent immediately. What great customer service, thank you so much.
