This has worked great so far! We had a very pesky and smart squirrel that destroyed a couple of other bird-feeding options we tried, so we are very happy with this feeder! The birds can get to the food easily, and the squirrel quickly realized he wasn’t getting in it and gave up. Thank you!

    (Update to my 11/10/16 review)
This is NOT squirrel-proof, by any means, as in the incredibly persistent squirrels have since had little difficulty in getting the food out. However, the feeder has taken considerable abuse by the squirrels and still is in great condition. There are visible claw and teeth marks, but the feeder won’t be going anywhere. Fortunately we seem to have devised a very effective and cheap modification to the feeder to proof it and keep our (mostly) finches happy. Thanks again!
