The Droll Yankees New Generation Finch Flocker features an excellent design. With its durable construction, this feeder will serve the birds in your wildlife habitat faithfully, season after season. And our Finch Flocker Yellow is a sure way to attract the beautiful goldfinches.

  • Twenty perch locations allow several birds to eat simultaneously
  • UV Stabilized Polycarbonate feeder tube keeps the seed level visible at all times
  • An internal seed baffle directs seed to an additional seed port located at the lowest level of seed to ensure that the feeder empties completely without allowing seed build-up
  • Simply slide the die-cast metal cap up the hanger for quick, convenient filling with our large capacity Seed Scoop and cleaning using the Droll Yankees 24-inch Bird Feeder Brush
  • The yellow metal feeder base is equipped with drainage holes to dispel any water that gets inside and provide ventilation to keep seed dry and fresh
  • This feeder may be hung on the included metal loop hanger or use an 18-inch Locking Chain for complete security from falls. It can also be pole mounted using the Droll Yankees Garden Pole, Ultimate Deck System, Ultimate Yard System or Shepherd’s Envy Pole.
  • Lifetime Warranty against squirrel damage
  • Made in the U.S.A.

Note: Attach a Droll Yankees A-6T Seed Tray or Omni Seed Tray to the feeder base to attract an even wider variety of birds. Use a Squirrel Guard over the feeder to baffle the squirrels.

Please! For the sake of the birds, keep your feeder clean! Dirty feeders spread disease. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a Droll Yankees Bird Feeder Brush to brush away grime inside the tube.

If you love your finches, they will flock to your yard with this feeder. Large enough so you don’t need to fill it daily, the birds will learn that this is a consistent, dependable food source, and will return day after day,..year after year. It is common to have every position filled, with birds waiting in the trees, for their turn on a perch.

I’ve had this feeder for over 10 years now and the finches come to it daily. The only problem I ever had was a crack in the tube which resulted in my wife giving me a different brand of spiral feeder as a replacement two years ago and the finches didn’t want to go to it! I put this one back up and they’ve been going to it again ever since. I just found this website today and am purchasing a second one of these so there’ll be no more waiting!

I bought this feeder about 13 years ago. It has been a staple for my bird feeding fun. It is easy to take apart to clean. The only problem I have found with cleaning is that if you like a ‘totally’ clean tube, it is nearly impossible to reach the center of the tube when cleaning due to the length. With that said, the bottom (where water, dirt, and mold tend to build up) come apart, cleans, and reassembles easily. The only problem I have had in my 13 years of continued use is the loss of a few perches. The feeder is fully functional without them, there are just less perches for the birds to sit on. As a thistle seed feeder, this one is top notch in its performance and durability. I have tried other thistle feeders that only hold up for a year or two (max), making this feeder worth its cost. I have over 100 birds at my feeders at any given time during the day. I have tried going on the cheap with a net sock feeder or two, but they also do not hold up. I am planning a purchase this week for a supplemental thistle seed feeding while the weather is so cold and blustery to replace yet another net sock feeder. These two feeders are almost constantly full of yellow finch and house finch, with an abundance of chickidee and junco flocking underneath at all times eating too! Of course, I also take pleasure in providing 6 sunflower seed feeders (filled with various varieties of seed) and 3 suet feeders for everyone to have a little variety!
